Cookie Policy

This policy explains what cookies are, which ones Orqival uses, why we use them and how you can manage them. Our implementation is compatible with Google Consent Mode v2, which means that no non-essential category is activated until you give your explicit consent.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help remember preferences, keep sessions active and, in some cases, measure how the site is used or display more relevant content.

2. Categories we use

We distinguish four categories: essential (required for the operation and security of the site), functional (to remember your language and preferences), analytics (to measure aggregated usage) and advertising/marketing (to show ads and more relevant content through partners such as Google Ads).

3. Consent denied by default

When you first arrive at the site, every non-essential category is denied by default. Only when you accept or save your preferences in the banner do we activate the categories you have enabled.

4. Google Consent Mode v2

We implement Google Consent Mode v2 to make sure the signals sent to Google tools (Ads, measurement) reflect your preferences exactly. We use the ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage parameters. When you change your choice, we fire a cookie_consent_update event in the dataLayer so tags can be updated in real time.

5. Persistence of your choice

We store your preference in the browser's local storage so we do not need to ask again on each visit. If you clear your browser data, the banner will appear again and you can choose once more.

6. How to change your preferences

You can modify your preferences at any time by clicking 'Cookie preferences' in the footer. You can also delete cookies from your browser settings.

7. Third-party cookies

Third-party cookies (for example those from Google) are only activated once you accept the corresponding category. Each provider has its own privacy policy, which we suggest reviewing.
